Both models share a long list of familiar Mossberg features, including the ambidextrous rotary safety, Magpul MOE+ pistol grip, top-mounted Picatinny rail, elongated bolt release, and Mossberg’s adjustable stock system with eight length-of-pull positions. Internals and externals are E-coated for durability. And the flat-profile trigger is designed for a smooth, predictable break.
The 590R Chisel also retains its enlarged, beveled loading port and extended follower to make topping off the tube faster and less frustrating under stress.
