Springfield Armory is leaning into the “ready out of the box” trend.
The company just rolled out its new SAINT Gear Pac, bundling select SAINT rifles with a handful of practical add-ons. No rebates, no waiting, just everything included upfront.
And honestly, that’s the appeal here.
Instead of buying a rifle and then piecing together the rest, this package is built to get you range-ready right away.
Each Gear Pac comes with a factory-installed Viridian VENTA green dot, already mounted and set up. It’s a 2 MOA dot on a co-witness riser, with a pretty straightforward feature set: aluminum housing, IPX7 rating, and up to 30,000 hours of runtime on a CR2032 battery.
Nothing flashy, but it’s a solid deal.
You’re also getting four Magpul PMAG Gen M3 mags total, which most shooters are already familiar with. Reliable, durable, and pretty much the standard at this point.
Rounding things out is a zippered rifle bag with extra storage for mags and gear. Again, not groundbreaking, but useful.
Springfield is pitching the bundle as adding more than $200 in value, and unlike a lot of promos, there’s no redemption process involved. What you see is what you get at the counter.
That’s a nice change.
The Gear Pac is also being positioned as a permanent catalog option, not a limited-time deal, so it looks like Springfield is making this more of a long-term offering rather than a seasonal promo.
The Bottom line?
If you were already looking at a SAINT rifle and planned on adding an optic and mags anyway, this kind of package makes sense. It’s not reinventing anything. But it does simplify the process and saves you a few extra steps.
