Just over one year after introducing the 2K11 platform in November 2024, Kimber has expanded the family with multiple line extensions. Among the most frequently requested additions to the platform has been a compensated model, now realized with the launch of the 2K11 Comp lineup.
Debuting in January 2026, the new 2K11 Comp series is offered in both black and stainless finishes, with full-size (5-inch barrel) and Pro-size (4.25-inch barrel) configurations available in each color. All models feature an integrated compensator forward of the front sight and Kimber’s new carbon fiber grip module. Select variants are available with a Stan Chen Customs magwell and TAG Precision steel optic adapter plates. The 2K11 Comp models retain the hallmark features of the existing 2K11 line, including a toolless guide rod system, external extractor, and crowned, fluted barrel. Chambered in 9mm, the 2K11 Comp series is available for immediate shipment and will begin appearing in stores as early as January.
Pedi Gega Director of product development, assembly and finishing stated:
“The 2K11 Comp is the culmination of years of preparation and hundreds of thousands of rounds of testing to deliver the most fully featured comprehensive handgun we have ever produced. The new 2K11 family of compensated models creates the highest class of firearms for the discerning enthusiast and competitive shooter.”

Over the past year, Kimber has remained committed to incorporating consumer and influencer feedback into the evolution of the 2K11 platform. Updates across the series include smoothing the ambidextrous safety “hot spot,” shortening the trigger for improved comfort, and partnering with TAG Precision to deliver durable steel optic mounting plates.
