Looking for an even more capable Honda Passport? Honda Racing’s 2025 SEMA show concept is a look at exactly that.
It’s called the Honda Passport TrailSport HRC Concept, and it’s a rolling showcase of Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) performance parts and accessories that give the SUV added capability. This includes things like a new exhaust, upgraded shocks, rock sliders, and a relocated spare.
Passport Gets Stamped With a Lift and Taller Tires
Honda calls the new suspension “trail-ready.” It comes with upgraded dampers, both front and rear, as well as a 2.4-inch lift to add clearance under the Passport. The lift also allows for 1-inch taller (now 32 inches) all-terrain tires to fit underneath, bumping up the ride height even more.
If that’s still not enough clearance, the Honda Passport TrailSport HRC Concept has extended skid plates underneath. There is also added protection for the center bearing of the prop shaft and for the rear drive unit.
The front and rear bumpers have both been replaced with parts that improve approach and departure angles. There are also new, wider rock sliders that are big enough to work as side steps for getting in and out with the extra height.
New Lights Everywhere

HRC is lighting up the Passport TrailSport with plenty of extra lumens. There are new fog lights, side camping lights, a rooftop light bar, rear chase lights, and ditch lights — something you’ve probably never seen on a Passport before. You’ll probably never see those again, either.
What you might see more of is the low-profile roof rack from HRC. It comes with a side canopy as well, for trail breaks. A new spare tire carrier that swings on the tailgate makes accessing the extra tire a breeze. The concept also gets an 8,000-pound winch and an integrated air compressor in the back.
Honda Passport TrailSport HRC Concept Is Meant to Inspire You

In most of the world, Honda Racing is a motorcycle racing affair, on pavement or in the dirt. In the U.S., it is in charge of not just Honda and Acura road and off-road racing, but also handles accessories for the brand.
Head to Honda’s Dreamshop, where HRC parts live, and you’ll find many of these accessories for sale: wheels, racks, scuff plates, and others. Honda hasn’t confirmed it will sell these parts, but it said at the show last year that it was planning to build new performance parts. So, expect to see many of these available to purchase sooner rather than later.
Is the Honda Passport TrailSport HRC Concept a go-anywhere overlander? Of course not. But, it is definitely a rig that shows Passport owners what their SUVs are capable of, at least with a little help from the dealer parts department.

The cost guidance is better than expected. If they deliver, the stock could rerate.
