A natural evolution from a helmet accessory provider to a helmet maker has happened for Cardo Systems. Known for high-quality wireless communication solutions in the powersports industry, they are now introducing their first motorcycle helmets, the BEYOND GTS and BEYOND GT.
Why these new helmets are cool is that they are an integrated solution, which should offer better sound and clearer communication when riding a motorcycle. Cardo Systems says they’ve produced the “world’s first 53mm helmet speakers … for unmatched clarity and power.”
“After 20 years at the forefront of rider communication, this is, without a doubt, a breakthrough moment for Cardo Systems,” said Alon Lumbroso, Chief Executive Officer at Cardo. “We’ve always believed technology should enhance the ride without distracting from it, and that’s exactly what we’ve achieved with this helmet. It’s not just about adding features. It’s about integrating them in a way that is seamless and feels natural, intuitive, and purpose-built for motorcyclists.”
Cardo Helmets

Cardo says the new helmets are a “fusion of Safety, sound, and intuitive technology.” I say they look pretty rad and seem to have all sorts of tech which could be useful.
Clean, clear sound from big speakers tuned for the helmet is step one of being awesome. Step two has to be an active noise cancellation system, which promises to “combat fatigue and hearing loss.”
These new motorcycle helmets even have a helmet health indicator. This built-in tool is said to “continuously monitor and report on the helmet’s condition, giving riders real-time insight into the integrity of their gear and ensuring maximum protection and peace of mind on every ride.”
In addition, these helmets have “upgradable tech modules,” a detachable battery with wireless charging, automatic on/off functionality, and a customizable button.
BEYOND GTS

The BEYOND GTS model helmet has a carbon fiber shell and multi-density EPS liner. This should produce a helmet with quality protection while keeping it lightweight to minimize rider fatigue.

Wind-tunnel testing is said to have created a helmet with impressive airflow and stability. This should again help reduce fatigue, and also keep the visor free of fog. The world’s first Pinlock 200 anti-fog lens should also help reduce fogging issues and improve visibility.
A retractable sun visor means you don’t have to swap out helmet lenses when the lighting conditions change.

The helmet is both DOT and ECE 22.06 certified, so it’s street-legal globally. Safety is at the core of this helmet, with such features as an emergency release system, integrated crash detection alerts, and an integrated active brake light.
Of course, the helmet also has the latest Cardo Dynamic Mesh Communication (DMC) tech built in as well. This provides hands-free voice controls, Bluetooth integration with your smartphone, and up to 2 km of intercom range with other riders that also have the system. Yes, that means you can listen to music, podcasts, and more, and also make phone calls, all hands-free.
BEYOND GT

The BEYOND GT is the GTS’s more affordable sibling. It has a fiberglass shell, versus the GTS’s carbon one.
Other features have also been reduced to keep the cost down. The GT does not have wireless charging capability. It also has less expensive paddling inside as well as utilizes a Pinlock 120XLT anti-fog lens. It also doesn’t have the rear-brake light, but does have a rear reflector.
It does still have active noise cancellation and all the same integrated speaker and communication systems.
Cardo BEYOND Helmets: Availability & Pricing

While we’re just getting our first look at these new Cardo Systems motorcycle lids, they won’t hit the U.S. market until summer 2026. Pricing starts at $949 for the Cardo BEYOND GT. The BEYOND GTS is $250 more, at $1,199. Neither is inexpensive, but the pricing seems fair if everything lives up to the promises presented today.

The cost guidance is better than expected. If they deliver, the stock could rerate.
