The nation’s largest Veterans Day event, the New York City Veterans Day Parade hosted by the United War Veterans Council, will return to Fifth Avenue on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2026, for its 107th year.
The parade will take place along Fifth Avenue from East 26th to East 48th Streets, according to the council’s Nov. 4 announcement. The parade will step off at 12:30 p.m. It will mark several milestone anniversaries:
- U.S. 250th anniversary
- 25th anniversary of 9/11
- 35th anniversary of Operation Desert Storm
- 85th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor
Two members of the year’s “featured service,” the Navy, will lead the parade: retired Navy astronaut Capt. Sunita “Suni” L. Williams as grand marshal and Vicki Bello, manager of community and veterans programs for the Theatre Development Fund and a Navy veteran, as honorary marshal.

The parade typically features hundreds of marching and vehicle units and thousands of participants from across America, representing every service branch of the military and every era since World War II.
The parade may be viewed live online on WABC in New York on Nov. 11.
In person, spectators can get a view anywhere along Fifth Avenue from the step-off point, 25th Street, to its end on 45th Street.
